Former Chairman and CEO of MCA Financial sentenced to 10 years in prison

Former MCA Financial Corp. executive John P. O’Leary of Davisburg, pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to concealing a $250 million scheme to defraud investors and lenders.
O’Leary will be sentenced Dec. 6. Under a plea agreement, he faces up to 18 months in prison and millions of dollars in restitution. He also will pay a $20,000 administrative fine to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
