New page/feature added to menu
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 9:46AM This site is conscious of the need for accuracy of the information we publish and has a strict policy of only publishing information which we can source back to law enforcement in the form of official news releases and/or court records and then stating what that source is. Every news release and court document is backed-up on our server in case the original source becomes unavailable.
Because of this policy there are many newspaper and internet articles that go unpublished or are only published much later once people are indicted or convicted. In some cases we publish newspaper articles in full but only once we have obtained written permission from the publisher to do so.
However we are also aware of the need to keep you informed and so we have added a new page in the left hand menu called In the News. This journal page will contain articles we would not normally mention or publish. Each entry will contain a brief introduction/excerpt taken from directly from the article and then links to it. Remember links can be broken. We will not be using articles from sites which require a subscription as those link invariably expire after a few days.
We hope you find this useful and as always welcome your emailed comments.
The RSS feed for this Journal can be found towards the bottom of the menu.
